Meet the team

Hello! Pawfect Occasions is run by me, Annabel, I have a BSc (Hons) in Animal Studies, specialising in behaviour and welfare, and has over fifteen years of experience in the pet industry, from working in  a rescue centre to running a busy a successful dog walking business.

I live near Preston, Lancashire, with my family of humans, and dogs and rabbits. Our dogs are trained in agility and obedience and are very enthusiastic participants. Dogs are my passion, I’ve loved them for as long as she I can remember (I would read training books and spend hours training the family schnauzer). My daughter follows is following in my footsteps, often helping me with work commitments, even at 6! Pawfect Occasions is a family business, friendly and approachable, with your dog's happiness and your peace of mind at the heart of everything we do .

The idea for Pawfect Occasions came about when my partner proposed and the first thing I thought about (after saying yes, of course) was how our dogs could be involved and who would look after them on the big day.

Martin is normally behind the scenes at home, being my long suffering other half for ten years, but as of May 2021, will be my part-time assistant. He will be attending weddings alongside me when there is more than one dog or attending some weddings on his own close to home!

He's as dog mad as me, in fact, he's probably more likely to roll around the floor with your dogs. Dogs are naturally attracted to him, even the more nervous ones. He has always had an active roll in training our own dogs and has grown up around them too.

He has been trained up by myself and holds a certificate in canine first aid and is also fully insured.
